Student Council
Willowdale High School Student Council is a cabinet from the student body pledged to attend to student affairs and maintain an engaging and healthy environment in the school. The Council serves as a voice for the student body and strives to promote acceptance, equity, cooperation, responsibility, friendship, and school spirit.
The WHS student council serves as the voice for an entire student body and actively works with teachers and advisors to promote a better learning environment. Being part of WHS student council is a great way for students to take on leadership roles and have an active positive impact on the school community by:
- Planning special events and projects
- Supporting the student body
- Fundraising for community activities or functions
- Helping and supporting new students
- Advocating for students
- Participating in production of the school newspapers
All WHS students are encouraged to participate and nominate themselves for a position in the student council because we believe it provides powerful leadership and learning opportunities.
