To ensure the utmost student safety and comfort within our homestay programs, Willowdale High School implements rigorous screening and support measures:

• We require all adults in prospective homestay homes to provide a police check performed through the reputable Toronto Police Department.
• Each homestay residence undergoes thorough examinations before and during the student’s stay to maintain high standards.
• Our program ensures students are cared for as valued members of a family, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Important Note for International Homestay Applicants

Please note that international students who plan to live with Canadian local families through our homestay program are strictly required to apply before they come to Canada. This ensures all arrangements are securely in place for a smooth transition.
